Weekend Announcements
The Durham Community Food Pantry regularly serves approximately 350 families each week, and you can help meet this critical need by donating non-perishable food items from October 31 through November 15.
A list of items needed is available on the Social Action and Outreach Ministry table in the Gathering Space.
Large, clean, brown paper grocery bags with handles are needed to assemble Thanksgiving Food Kits for the Durham Community Food. If you have any to donate, please place them on the Donation Table in the Multipurpose Room before November 15.
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, December 19 at 10am. There will be an Advent penitential service.
God is calling all of us. If you are looking for means to answer his call, please consider volunteering in the following: Stewardship Committee, and Faith Formation and Education Committee. Please contact Fr. Ugo.

Holy Cross hosted a Durham CAN Metro Meeting on Thursday, October 15. The goal of the meeting was to train Core Teams to conduct Listening Sessions in their institutions and neighborhoods.
Holy Cross will conduct several Listening Session between November 1, 2026 and February 1, 2027.You will be invited to attend small groups to share your perspectives about concerns in the Durham
Community. The results of Holy Cross’s Listening Sessions will help lay the groundwork for further research leading to the foundation for Durham
CAN’s organizing for the next 18 to 24 months.
